i’m Ash Eris Vine (they/them), and i love stories about youth, change, and unbelievable worlds that feel more real than our own. this is where i discuss all the ways i create these stories, from tabletop roleplaying to sci-fi writing. you can read some of my work and contact me here, too! i love complicated emotions, deep character arcs, intense speculative biology, and created life-forms.

speculation and storytelling are more than fun distractions. they are also tools for change. my work deliberately explores non-normalized modes of being: you’ll find discussion of everything from queer romance, to robot liberation, to the empathy owed to sentient cancer. this is more than a preference; it’s who i am. gender is inapplicable to me. everyday orthodoxies and stale discourse bore me. i defy normality and conformity. we can live in a freer world, but only if we recognize it first. i want to demonstrate a freer world.
